RIP Bill Bartolini

Just a short note to commemorate the amazing work and commitment of Bill Bartolini who passed away at the age of 84. Mr. Bartolini studied the science of acoustics and founded the pickup maker eventually called Bartolini Pickups & Electronics with his wife Patricia. Mr. Bartolini retired in 2014 and the company he founded is still making pickups, for numerous bass guitar makers, as well as for the aftermarket. I own a couple of bass guitars with Bartolini pickups and find that they have their very own sound, with great range and clarity. Thanks for what you accomplished sir.
