My thoughts are with Billy F. Gibbons and Frank Beard on the passing of their long time partner Dusty Hill. A three-piece can be one of the strongest bands, when all the players are pulling together on the same track. For decades, Dusty was the anchor to ZZ Top. He will be missed.

Dusty was consistent and while not the fanciest bass player, his drive, time and go for it made a huge contribution. His passing leaves a hole in music.
